During the destruction of the Old Gods and their planet, a powerful force known as God Wave was released which led to the creation of New gods and Super powered beings. The Source where the Wave originated trapped Old Gods and now called as Source Wall.

Lying at the edge of the known universe in the Promethean Galaxy is the Source Wall, beyond the wall lies what is known as the Source, a cosmic essence or being that is the "source" of all that exists. The wall is theoretically passable. However, all those who have tried have been inevitably trapped in it. It can also be called as the Creator of the Universe.
Its known Powers :
1. Omnipotence (unlimited power)
2. Omniscience (all-knowledge)
3. Omnipresence (divine presence)
4. Source of Creation
When Metron was investigating the death of the New Gods, he encountered the Source. The Source revealed it was behind the deaths to build a new "Fifth World" after the Third and Fourth Worlds of the respective Old and New Gods proved unsatisfactory.
One of the few known persons to have entered the Source was an amalgam of Zeus, Odin, Ares, Jove, and Highfather. Few others who have known to entered it are Superman, Barry Allen, Metron, Darkseid and Lucifer.

DeleteA White Lantern can also pass through the Source wall. Kyle Rayner did to refill The Reservoir located behind The Wall.
